The Holly tree is a prickly evergreen producing abundant berries in the Winter. A steady grower which holds up well in windy and exposed areas. Reaching about 8ft in 10 years. Likes both wet and dry, shady and exposed sites. Can be used for hedging. The current height & quantity of trees is shown above. For hedging we would recommend planting 1 plant per 9 inches for a single row and 2 plants per 9 inches for a zig zag (belt and braces) double row.
